LOBBY is a biannual architecture magazine located between a seminar session and a speakeasy. A space that celebrates unique international encounters between strangers and friends, LOBBY both starts conversations and gives something to talk about.
The magazine has come a long way over the last three years, growing from a school-based magazine to an ambitious, international print publication with an active website, an event series and an ongoing conversation with our followers via social media. To respond to the organic growth of the magazine, it's become necessary for us to increase our budget to reach our diverse, international audience, and to be able to continue creating a beautiful publication of the highest standard. We strive so that every issue of LOBBY reads, looks and feels better than the last; issue No.6, themed '1961', is our most ambitious, thoughtfully curated and carefully designed issue yet.
LOBBY No.6 is in the final stages of production and set to launch at the end of September. But first, we need your support. For this issue, we're launching our very first Kickstarter campaign to help cover its production costs and help set a subscription scheme in place—this is both very exciting and terribly nerve-wracking! All we ask is that you check out our campaign video, and if you continue to believe in the work we've been doing, please back our Kickstarter project. We also have unique rewards we're offering our highest backers: beautiful models and images courtesy of Daniel Libeskind, Mario Botta, Mecanoo, UNStudio and Studio NAARO, created solely and specifically for LOBBY backers.
Thank you for helping us get this far.
